One of the only decisions applauded by everybody that Joan Laporta took is the ban to access the stadium of the Boixos Nois (radical group of Barça fans). Say no to the violent people, leave them out of the Club's life was praised for Spanish football.
But everybody applauding it doesn't mean everybody would follow the same way. In Real Madrid Ultras Sur still existed and attending Bernabéu normally. Until Florentino said enough. The president of Real Madrid decided at the end of 2013 that the most violent face of the group was too dangerous and he made them out of the stadium.
And currently from media who are with the president are placing him high. They are selling us a brave Florentino, who decided to finish off violent fans. As if Ultras Sur appeared two days ago. As if Florentino came to be president yesterday. And this is not what it is. Florentino is president (with a space between 2006-2009) since 2000. And until his 11th year as president he didn't do it.
President himself now is taking them out the ones he allowed to be at Mourinho's farewell
Right now, Ultras Sur are divided. The violent ones, who take the lead of the group, can't enter the stadium and they boo the president. They posted placards in the city and they constantly attack the president with resgination yelling. But there is also the most traditional part, the elders (some of them founders) of Ultras Sur, who have other groups and they are able to enter the stadium.
Anyway, it is surprising that now Real Madrid take the flag and expelling the violent people of the stadium. The same president who is now taking them out allowed them to access Mourinho's farewell. The club gave the allowance to Ultras Sur to make a little tribute to the Portuguese in the pitch. Back then all was easy for the Ultras had everything. It was the moment to defend Mourinho. The phyolosophy of "Tu dedo nos señala el camino" (Your finger leads our way), was their ruling. But Mourinho left. And now they are annoying. And they take them out.
They are violent, indeed. They have to leave, indeed. But don't try to sell us the good decision like an example, which is late, 12 years of command, now, Florentino does what Laporta did in a few months.
