The former Barça player points the leaders of the Spanish team, candidates to win EURO2016
"Iniesta and Busquets set the style of the Spanish team; they are the key players." Such confidence has shown Xavi Hernández when talking about the role of former colleagues. The Catalan has not hesitated to assert that "they are very experienced players in important competitions for years and play an important role at the club. They will be decisive."
At an event with the organizers of the World Cup in Qatar to be held within six years, Xavi also spoke about the candidacy of Spain in the Euro: "The Spanish are one of the major candidates, but there will be many favorites. Germany, France, Portugal, Italy and England, who also have a historical pressure, are favorites".
Xavi led the Spanish team in the last two Euros, in which they were champions. Looking ahead to this year, he believes that "the result will be determined for minor details."
