The midfielder played there on loan last season
Alex Song's future could be resolved in the coming days. West Ham coach, Slaven Bilic, has confirmed that the British are about to sign Barcelona's midfielder, who played there on loan last season.
"His comeback is close. He played here last season and, although he got injured, I can not deny that he was a great player for us. I would like him to stay here," said the Croatian coach.
Song, who still has a year contract with Barcelona, missed the end of the season and he might undergo surgery because of knee discomfort. If West Ham finally signs him, he will be the sixth reinforcement for the Hammers after Pedro Obiang (Sampdoria), Angelo Ogbonna (Juventus), Dimitri Payet (Olympique Marsella), Darren Randolph (Birmingham) and Stephen Hendrie (Hamilton).
