With the transfer to Chelsea, Pedro Rodriguez Ledesma (28 July 1987) has decided to end his career at FC Barcelona after eight seasons in the first team and three more in the lower categories. A player promoted by Rijkaard and specially with Guardiola, and benefited from the time when the youth players had space in the first team. Messi had already been doing magic for a few years, and together with Pedrito, Busquets, Bojan or Thiago also arrived in the first team.

"I want more minutes" is the reason to leave the club. But the odd thing is that in the last two years, he has played 54 and 51 games, almost as much as in his two best seasons, 2009-10 (54) and 2010-11 (54). But it is normal that at his age he does not want to feel substitute any more. The arrival of Suárez and Neymar were key in this decision. We'll see now if Mourinho is able to give him minutes, in a team where he will probably compete with Diego Costa for a place in the starting lineup.

Pedro's best goals
