The first day of Inclusive Soccer was a success
This Sunday the first day of Inclusive Soccer was celebrated in Santa Coloma de Gramenet, near Barcelona, with great success of participation. The proposal has the objective of encouraging the integration of young people with special needs (blind, deaf, disabled, Down syndrome or intellectual difficulties) and raise awareness amongst sports organizations of the importance of integrating inclusive teams in their clubs.
One of the participants was Álvaro del Bosque, Spanish coach's son, who suffers Down syndrome, and played with both teams. His father, Vicente del Bosque, attended the match. He could see a goal of his son Álvaro from the penalty spot, which has been shared a lot in the social nets. Piqué even retweeted it.
