Bruce Springsteen concert at Camp Nou, the F-1 Grand Prix and the arrival of the team at 11 pm are the reasons of the final decision
Finally, this Saturday there will be no celebration parade in the streets of Barcelona if the club win La Liga in Granada. According to Catalunya Radio, it will be postponed until after Copa del Rey final against Sevilla.
The club has taken this decision based on various factors that could interfere in the common parade. On the one hand, the Bruce Springsteen concert on Saturday night at Camp Nou. The usual venue for celebrations will be occupied.
Moreover, Barça game will end at 7 pm CEST. If there is a celebration on the grass, the return flight will be later than usual and the Barça players will arrive around 11 pm in Barcelona. This would prevent the presence of children in the parade, which would be less festive. In addition, a night parade is complicated for the security.
And finally, the Grand Prix of Formula 1 in Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya this weekend would prevent Catalan police to have enough strength on the streets of Barcelona for a possible parade. So any official celebration will be done until after Copa del Rey final on Sunday 22 May.
