Arda Turan will be the second Turkish of Barcelona's history
Barcelona announced on Monday night the signing of Arda Turan. The Turkish midfielder has become the second signing of the season after Alexis Vidal, but both of them won't be available until January.
Turan will become the second Turkish of Barcelona's history. The first one was the goalkeeper Rustu Reçber, who played for Barcelona one season (2003-2004). Barcelona signed Rustu after his great performances in the World Cup 2002 with Turkey.
Victor Valdes was the chosen one for Frank Rijkaard and Rustu only played 4 matches at Barcelona. The following season he came back on loan to Fenerbache and he stayed there the following years.
Rustu is now 42 years old. He retired at Besiktas back in 2012.
