Barça's forward was wearing a ribbon with the message "100% Jesus" while on the podium
The International Olympic Comitee (IOC) sent a letter to the Brazilian Football Federation (CBF) complaining about Neymar's ribbon at the celebration of Brazil's gold medal. Barça's forward was wearing a ribbon with the message "100% Jesus" while on the podium. The problem is that the IOC had already stated explicitly the prohibition of messages with commercial, political or religious purposes on the Olympic podiums.
Neither the Brazilian Federation nor the player will be penalized for this, but the IOC wanted to warn them so that this won't happen again in future editions of the Olympic Games. Neymar has already celebrated some titles with this ribbon, like Barça's Champions League title in Berlin.
