The club offered €4 million + €8M in variable concepts
The president of UD Las Palmas, Miguel Ángel Ramírez, admitted at a press conference they had an offer from FC Barcelona for their Uruguayan center-back Mauricio Lemos: "There is no offer for any player in our offices, except the one from FC Barcelona for Lemos. For us, this is not enough."
Barça bid was €4 million plus €8M more in variable concepts. The offer has not convinced the club, which expected nearly €12 million. Recall that Lemos arrived at Las Palmas in the winter market from Rubin Kazan for €2 million.
The 20-year-old Uruguayan center-back was one of the possible players to replace Marc Bartra. Lemos is a player that stands out for a great physical condition and an elegant way to playing the ball out, essential characteristics to adapt to the philosophy of Barça.
