The winger was presented as new Fiorentina player, a club interested in Bartra
Cristian Tello was presented this Thursday as new Fiorentina player. After leaving Porto, where his participation had decreased, FC Barcelona decided to send him on loan to the Italian team, a club which would also like to have Marc Bartra, according to some Italian media.
On his first statements, Tello talked about the possibility to have the center-back in Fiorentina: "I heard Fiorentina's interest. He congratulated me for having come here. He is an important player who has to play and feel important. It's difficult for a player to leave Barça, but he has to try it in order to have minutes and grow as a player."
Regarding his arrival in Fiorentina he said that "since the first moment I said yes to Fiorentina. I wasn't playing and for me it was important to know that Fiorentina wanted to give me a chance. I'm happy and it's a big challenge. I hope to do it well and stay here for a long time."
The Catalan also talked about the experience of growing in a club like FC Barcelona: "They teach you how to play soccer when you are a kid, and you also learn human aspects as well. I have matured. I want to be happy with soccer and play as much as possible. It's important to have the confidence of a big club. Now it's time to convince the coach so I can stay here."
