Barcelona didn't play at their best this Saturday against Malaga. Without Leo Messi and Luis Suarez, and with Paco Alcacer as the starting centre-forward, Barcelona couldn't score any goals against the opposition.
In the first half Juande Ramos, Malaga's coach, showed the scarlet and blues what they were going to face: a very tough defensive line-up. Five at the back and very few intentions of going forward. In fact Malaga only had once clear chance in the whole game, but it could have been a goal because Juankar managed to get past Ter Stegen and then his shot went wide.
Rafinha had one clear chance at the first half. Then Piqué a goal disallowed in the second half. Malaga were down to ten men after Diego Llorente fouled Neymar in a very bad tackle. And they finished the game with only 9 after Jaunkar said something to the referee.
With Pique as a centre-forward in the final minutes and Malaga wasting all the time they could, Barcelona ended a sad afternoon with no goals with two chances saved by Carlos Kameni. Malaga's goalkeeper was the man of the match.
