Diego Pablo Simeone appeared in the press room before receiving Barça in the 37th fixture. The team from Madrid want to have the third place for sure before arriving at the last fixture of La Liga, and if Barça must be proclaimed champions of La Liga at Calderón, they must do it without having the 3 points. This is 'Cholo's idea before playing the match.

"Not thinking, running" this is Simeone's message to his men for the match of this Sunday (7pm CEST). "We mustn't thing, we must play every second as if it was the last one. If you think a lot you get blocked and you get away from victory" said the Argentinian coach. Last season Atletico Madrid won La Liga at Camp Nou, front their direct rival. "They are situations of fate. It can be achieved if Real Madrid lose and Barça will be champions anyway, everybody happy."

Atletico Madrid couldn't manage to follow Barça's and Real's rythm in La Liga. They stayed close unlike last year, this year they lost 3 matches against Barça (Liga and 2 of Copa del Rey): "It's a reality. Last year neither Barça nor Madrid were regualar as they were expected to be. We must be ready to hurt them if they are not feeling well. This year they have two wonderful keepers, Piqué has been ok the whole year, Mascherano is very competitive, Rakitic and Suárez completed the team. They improved with free kicks, Messi and Neymar are at an extraordinary level..."

A last note about Champions where Simeone praised the work done by Juventus and also Ancelotti in Real Madrid: "They are a team that can play very well this kind of matches." "Ancelotti is a great group director, Real would lose a very important piece if they let him go."
