Sergi Roberto has decided not to leave Barcelona during the summer market seeing that he has the confidence of Luis Enrique in official matches this season. Although he had some doubts in summer about his future at the club, starting in San Mames in the Spanish Super Cup and the minutes played in the UEFA Super Cup against Sevilla have helped to see that he could have a highlighted role this season.

As Weloba could know, the player still has offers of clubs such as Everton, Stoke City and Bayer Leverkusen. But now, the immediate future of midfielder could only change if the club decides to change plans or an irresistible offer appears. Sergi Roberto is intended to use every minute until January and once the market opens again, he might consider again to leave, as he know that with Arda Turan and Aleix Vidal, it will difficult to have minutes.

Aged 23, Sergi Roberto has had an irregular participation in the first team. Guardiola made him debut at the Bernabéu in the semifinals of the Champions League in 2011 and the following season he played only 318 minutes. With Tito Vilanova, he participation was even lower: 331 minutes. With Tata Martino and once in the first team, he played 938 minutes but with Luis Enrique last season his role did not increase and remained at 926 minutes. It's time to consolidate in Barcelona or find a way out away from Camp Nou.
