The Brazilian will take part in the first edition of the Premier Futsal, a tournament that is meant to become the best futsal league in the world
Former Blaugrana Ronaldinho Gaucho will play in the Indian Premier Futsal league in the next 10 days. The Brazilian player, who hasn't confirmed yet where he will play next season, will spend part of his summer in Asia to participate in the first edition of a tournament that is meant to become the best futsal league in the World, under the lead of Luis Figo, who is president.
Alongside Ronaldinho, other big names of world football as the retirees Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes or Argentinian Hernán Crespo, will take part in a competition made with 6 franchises of various cities in India that will face each other in several places in the country. Ronaldinho will be member of the team that represents the Goa state.
The Premier Futsal will be played from the 15th to the 24th of July and will be made of 23 games played across India with the objective of promoting this sport around the country to make it, in the future, the best competition in the world. The focus of the media is already assured thanks to the presence of big stars.
