Ronaldinho de Assís has been the guest of honour in the opening of Barça's new office in New York. During his stay in the city, the Brazilian conceded a couple of interviews to catalan newspapers. Here are his best answers:

Immediate future

"We're looking at different options to end my career. I want to play one more year before retiring".

"I'm already 36, it's time to do it. I want to do new things".

"I have a few projects in mind. I always loved music and I'd like to do something in that field. I also want to work in football schools for children around the world".

Coming back to Barça

"You never now. They've always treated me very well and I have a great relationship with the club".

"It was a really nice period of my life".

Memories

"I had a dream career. I won every title possible, which was unthinkable when I started playing football".

"I've won titles with almost every team I played for, but I have a special feeling for Barça".

"Those were very special years, with Rijkaard, Puyol, Xavi...I left great friends there".

Is it difficult to stay on top?

"Of course it is. You have to be very strong mentally".

"What Messi is doing, to be the number 1 so much time, it's very hard."

"Football is very complicated, even more when you play in a team like Barcelona. You have to be the best every 3 days, and Messi has achieved that".

Messi, the best in history?

"Every period had his number one: Pelé, Maradona, Garrincha..., but nowadays there's no doubt that Messi is the best".

Neymar

"He has to be the best in a few years. He is young and a great player but, unluckily for him, Messi is ahead of everyone".

"I'm sure, though, that he'll make history".
