Messi Liga

This Saturday Barcelona will pay the Champions League final against Juventus being favourites before the match starts. The Italian team won't be easy to beat and they are one of the strongest teams in Europe this season. They can also win the treble this season.

However, here in Barcelona, the fans are optimistic and they know Barça are favourites in the final. Here's 5 things to consider on why Barça has more chances to win the Berlin final.

1. Leo Messi

The Argentinian is at his best and nearly impossible to stop. The Italians know he can do whatever he wants if he has a good afternoon. Moreover, Chiellini said a few days ago that Messi couldn't score a goal like the one he scored against Athletic Club against an Italian team... so the Argentinian may be ready to prove him wrong.

Messi scored in the two Champions League finals he has played and 20 goals in 23 finals. 56 goals this season.

2. Attacking-trio

The Italians also will need to be aware of Luis Suarez and Neymar. Barcelona's triplet have scored 120 goals this season.

3. Individuals

Barça's squad is much better than Juventus'. The Italians have a good defense, but even in that line Barcelona have Jordi Alba, Mascherano, Pique and Dani Alves performing in an incredible level. In all the lines, all the players, the individuals are superior.

4. Experience

Juventus last final was back in 2003 and they won the Champions League for the last time in 1996, while Barcelona have won 3 Champions Leagues in the last 9 years.

Dani Alves, Gerard Piqué, Xavi Hernández, Andrés Iniesta, Javier Mascherano, Carles Busquets, Pedro Rodríguez and Messi played Barça0s last final in Wembley. Only Buffon in 2003 played Juve's last final.

5. Positive balance against Allegri

Barça beat Milan in 2011/12 in the quarterfinals and again in 2012/13 in the round of sixteen. Barça have played 8 matches against Allegri's Milan and only lost one. It was two seasons ago in the first leg of the round of sixteen: 2-0 at San Siro.

6. Physical form

Luis Enrique managed to have his squad fully fit at the end of the season. The only doubt for Saturday is Andres Iniesta. Allegri has the possible injuries of Barzagli and Chiellini and also Martin Cáceres who has been injured for months.
