Carles Puyol, captain and key player in the last three Champions Leagues achieved by Barcelona, was interviewed in Catalunya Radio. The former captain talked about this Saturday's Champions League final and also about his future plans. He also coincided with Xavi regarding chase after Camp Nou whistled the Spanish anthem.

Here you have his best statements:

Final Champions

"I hope Xavi lifts the Champions League. It would be the best image to end his time at the club."

"Against Juve in a Gamper Trophy, Messi played a good match. Barcelona does not only depend on Messi, the team is great."

"I hope we win the treble and the six titles. No other team has done apart from us and that says a lot about the club."

"Abidal deserved to lift the Champions in 2011. I would do it again. Sometimes there are people who deserve it more than the captain."

Whistle on the anthem

"Total support on Xavi's words. Freedom of expression. We are insulted everywhere and there are no sanctions."

"A lot of people are more interested in talking about the whistle than Barcelona having the chance to win the treble."

Memories from Barça

"I really miss playing soccer. I would be playing if I could. I wanted to play until I was 40."

"In FC Barcelona's squad, there're a lot of fantastic and normal people. It was a pleasure to be captain."

Soccer Director

"Maybe I rushed to accept the proposal of being Soccer Director Assistant in Barcelona."

"The club knew that I wouldn't continue in January. At that time I was not feeling well and wanted to leave."

"Now I'm in a learning process. Today I would prefer to work as Soccer Director than to being coach."

"A lot of people want to work in FC Barcelona, but it is true that it is the club of my heart."
