The French club is looking for a successor to Zlatan Ibrahimovic
Zlatan Ibrahimovic's era at PSG is about to end. The club fears that the player wants to leave soon and has been looking into the market for some time to find him a replacement.
Thus the images of cordiality between Cristiano Ronaldo and the French club's highest representatives we saw in the games between Real Madrid and PSG, with the Portuguese player being for a long time the number one replacement option of Swedish Ibrahimovic as figurehead. However, consequently to the ban FIFA imposed to Madrid, preventing them from signing players in the newt two transfer windows, it is unlikely to see Cristiano leave.
This is why the club has to find an alternative solution to the Portuguese player and, according to the French daily L'Equipe's front page ("Paris are looking for their star"), they already have it in sight. The big target for PSG is Barça's forward Neymar. Young, with a good-quality projection, the Ballon d'Or finalist is drawing all the Parisian technical staff's attention
