Wembley's Champions League is the first memory of the centre-back as Barça player
After the draw at Sánchez Pizjuán this Saturday and before facing a new Champions League week, Gerard Piqué talked in an interview for UEFA before the match of next Wednesday against Paris Saint-Germain.
The centre-back said that the relationship between Messi, Neymar and Suárez is different from the other ones: "I've never seen a relationship like this one." We are talking about the three best players in the world. When you are a football player you are always a bit selfish, but these three understand each other perfectly, there is no envy between them and this is proved on the field," said Piqué.
Regarding the differences between Guardiola, Vilanova, Tata Martino and Luis Enrique, Barça's player explained that each one of them left their stamp, always keeping Barça's style. "Luis Enrique likes to pressure on the forward and play with quick counter-attacks," he said.
At last, Piqué explained that the first memory he has as Barça player is: "I remember being 5 years old and seeing how we won our first Champions League at Wembley. The Club always played well, but we didn't win anything since long ago," and added that "I think we started to achieve important titles in the last 20 or 25 years. I am fortunate to be witness of this process that started when I was born."
