Manchester City manager proud of his career in an interview with El Mercurio
Manchester City manager, Manuel Pellegrini, who faced Barcelona twice in the Champions League recently, spoke clear about his career merits in an interview with the Chilean newspaper 'El Mercurio'.
Change in Spain
"In Spain I changed the way of playing, using 'free' midfielders instead of number 10. This was used later by Spain national team".
"What I did in Villarreal was bigger than winning titles. I did what anybody had done before... and maybe anybody will do again. In Malaga the same. Then at Real Madrid I did the best season so far, but without titles".
Attack on Mourinho
"When he wins, Mourinho wants to take advantage of everything. When I won the Premier League I didn't say a word. He is not my enemy but I generally don't agree with everything he does".
"I feel identified with Guardiola, Del Bosque or Wenger".
"I would love to manage Chile in a World Cup, but for now I want to stay in Europe".
