Barça pays 30 million Euros plus 2 in add-ons
It's official. After long and hard negotiations with Valencia, FC Barcelona announced today the signing of Paco Alcácer. The final price of the striker is 30 million Euros plus 2 million in add-ons. Alcácer signs for 5 seasons and will have a 100 million buyout clause.
The forward passed the medical yesterday and will be presented officialy next week, after returning from the Spanish national team.
Paco Alcácer is 23 years old and joins FC Barcelona to be the 4th forward that Luis Enrique has been asking for a long time. The young striker will be the substitute of Messi, Neymar and Suárez and is expected to have very few playing minutes. He will have to make the most of them if he wants to earn a spot in the starting XI.
The arrival of Paco Alcácer also means that Munir will join Valencia on loan. Valencia will have a purchase option at the end of the season for 12 million Euros.
