Neymar appeared on Wednesday for the first time in a press conference in Brazil's camp for the Olympic Games. The Brazilian seemed to be annoyed when a journalist asked him how involved he was with the Brazilian national team. The forward defended himself saying that he gave it all on the pitch and that he would keep going out. Otherwise, Neymar talked about Messi and about what will be after Barça.

Going out

"For starters, look at everything I do on the pitch. What happens outside the pitch is private, it is personal."

"You can ask whatever you want from me on the pitch, but I have a personal life, I'm 24. I have achived things and I am really serene."

"I make mistakes, I'm not perfect. But I like going out and have fun with my friends."

"Why can't I go out? There is no 'because'. I can go out and I will keep doing so."

"I think the question was mean, however, my answer is not. Imagine yourself at 24 years old and having won what I have won. Would you be like me?"

Messi

"It is obvious Barça depends on Messi. Any team depends on the best players and I have no problem assuring we play for him, because he is the team's crack."

"Everyone has to know how important he is inside the team. In Barça we depend on Messi and, if I had to choose, I would like to depend on him always."

Barça

"The atmosphere in the dressing room is marvellous. Any great player is always very well received. Anyone who comes to play for Barça I'm sure will be as happy as I am right now."

"I have learned a new philosophy of play at Barcelona that, undoubtedly, has helped me improve my caracteristics."
