"Giving up on Copa America? I always want to play it all but I understand Barça and the coach"
Usually, Neymar don't speak about legal affairs that affect his career but, today, he wanted to defend himself from the controversies in the Brazilian magazine 'Isto É 2016'. Barça's forward said that he is not a criminal and he insisted on the importance of having his father to help him out in that matter. Moreover, Neymar also talked about the Ballon d'Or, and passing on Copa América.
"I am not a criminal and neither is my father. I don't know if it is the lack of information of the evil in people, but they always look for controversy. I trust my father completely. He is in charge of everything out of football in my career. I am lucky to have him at my side so I can be at ease."
Passing on Copa América
"I always want to play it all but I understand Barça and the coach. That is why I didn't play the Copa América and that I am focusing now on the Olympics."
The Ballon d'Or
"It was great to be alongside Messi and Cristiano in last edition, but it is not a priority for me to win the Ballon d'Or. My objective is to win as many titles as possible."
