Neymar entrevista

Neymar took part on Tuesday to the program 'Programa do Jô' (Jô's program), presented by Jô Soares. The Brazilian remembered his Barça debut, talked about Messi, Alves, and also his most severe injury, that he suffered in the World Cup when he was close to not being able to walk again.

Here are his main statements:

Injury at World Cup

"The doctor told me that, had I taken the hit two inches on the side, I could have never walked again and I would have had to use a wheelchair. I went to the hospital and I couldn't move my legs. I cried a lot. It was the worst week of my life. Since I was little I had been dreaming of playing the World Cup and I was out of it because of an illegal blow."

Messi

"If you think about it, football without Messi don't go together. Who likes football always wants the best on the pitch."

Barça debut

"When I saw Messi, I was scared. When I arrived and I entered the dressing room there were Messi, Xavi, Iniesta, Piqué, Alves... they were all my idols. It seemed like I was playing the Playstation. At first, it was difficult."

Alves

"He was fundamental in my arrival at Barcelona and in my adaptation. I have a lot of consideration for everything he did with me at Barça."

Summer and the national team

"There was no problem. Barça didn't want me to play two competitions during the summer and they let me choose. With the CBF (Brazilian Football Confederation) I decided I would go to the Olympics."

Favourites outside the trident (Suárez, Neymar, Messi)

"I like Iniesta a lot, he is essential for the team, for the style of play, because of his hability and the way he plays. Busquets and Rakitic as well... They're all important."
