If there's no deal, Barcelona could transfer him this summer
Luis Enrique has confidence in Munir el Haddadi: taking into account last technical decisions, the forward is a step ahead of Sandro, when playing and taking minutes. However, his contract situation is not the best to make a long career at the club: he is only one year and a half left and he has a €12 million clause.
Barcelona's technical director, Robert Fernández, and Munir el Haddadi's agent have already started conversations, but the player does not want to renew unless they get a good economic offer, according to the newspaper Sport. The striker is confident that his complicity with Barcelona coach will lead to a renewal proposal in much better conditions than today. In case the contract wasn't closed, the club might transfer Munir this summer (one year before the contract ends) with an option to repurchase.
In the latter case, he will have many offers. The last to ask for Munir was Everton. The Liverpool team, trained by Robert Martinez, would have two former Barcelona players on the forward: Deulofeu and Munir.
