The decision will be taken by Luis Enrique in late August and depending on Pedro
Barça will go on Sunday to the United States tour with two players that this year have contract with the first team, Sandro and Munir. The two young players trained at La Masia were already important at the beginning of last season when Luis Suárez was suspended. This season, however, the Uruguayan is available from the first game, and the playing options are greatly reduced.
According to the newspaper Sport, Luis Enrique had a conversation with the two players in a training of this week and said that only one of the two will start the season. With the attacking trio formed by Messi, Suárez and Neymar, with the condition of untouchables, it will be very difficult to be at the initial lineups. But knowing that Pedro is the 4th striker, Sandro and Munir occupy the 5th and 6th place. That's why if Pedro is not a usual striker, the 5th will play less and the 6th hardly ever.
Pedro is one of the keys to this decision. If the Spanish striker decides to leave, the chances of Munir and Sandro are more. If Barça signs a new striker, the controversy would return.
The US tour will be the ultimate test for both players. In August Luis Enrique will have to take a decision, but is clear that neither Sandro nor Munir will return to Barça B, and less playing in Second Division B. Therefore, the solution would be a loan of one of them for one season to an important team where they can have minutes to keep learning and improving their game.
