Munir El Haddadi's current contract with Barcelona ends on 30th June 2017. However, the young striker is about to get an extension, according to Mundo Deportivo.

Munir will sign a 5-year deal with the Catalans. Luis Enrique trusts in him and his latest appearences have been quite positive. He's only 20 years old and the club feels he can still improve to make a top striker of himself.

This season Munir has scored 8 goals. Only Rakitic, Suárez, Neymar and Messi have scored more.

According to Mundo Deportivo, despite Barcelona signing another striker in the summer, Munir won't get a loan move. He might stay with the first team and fight for opportunities.
