The future of the striker is unknown
The preseason started and Barcelona travelled to the United States to play three matches. Between the players we find Pedro Rodríguez, who recently renewed but whose future is uncertain. "The clause dropped and I have offers," he said some days ago.
It is said that one of these offers comes from England, in concrete from Chelsea, one of Barcelona's rivals in the US. However, the Blues coach Jose Mourinho said that he is not interested in Pedro: "I have five strikers. If I lost one, I might be interested in another, but in this moment I have a balanced squad," said the Portuguese at Sky Sports. The coach, however, also admitted he was interested in incorporating a defense.
Whatever the intentions of Mourinho, Pedro could have more options in UK, since according to the Daily Mirror, Manchester United are also interested in him if Di Maria leaves.
