Messi tattoo arm

New Messi's tattoo in his arm is inspired by the Sagrada Família of Barcelona. According to the artist that made the draw to the players' arm, Roberto López, Fine Arts' teacher, assures that "it was a Messi's order and he was really explicit about what he wanted."

In this detail of the Sagrada Família you can see the rose window, as the one that Messi has in his arm. "Barcelona is his place in the world, his life. And he shows it with this tattoo. He could live and play wherever he wanted, but he stays in this city. He wants to be in Barcelona", says Roberto López.

Not long ago, the Argentinian also completed his "masterpiece" in the leg, which had started with the hands of his son Thiago. Nowadays we can find an angel wings, roses, swords, a ball and even a number 10.

Leo Messi started late wearing tattoos. At least later than some other players. The tattoo trend started when he was already consolidated in the first team. With the arrival of Alves, Cesc and other players, Barça's first team started to have many members with tattoos. Curiously players coming from La Masia, like Xavi, Busquets, Puyol or Messi himself didn't tend to have tattoos. Messi finally ended up putting ink on his body, just some time after his son Thiago was born and everyone was surprised. The very first picture was the hands of his son and the name 'Thiago'.
