At yesterday's game, Argentina had a rusty start until Lionel Messi appeared. Barça's '10' started shining after the 20 first minutes and that was a death sentence for the Paraguayan team. First of all, he served and excellent free-kick that was converted into goal by United's player Marcos Rojo. Then, he created a great assist to Pastore that allowed the PSG player to score the 2-0. Just before the half time, Lucas Barrios scored the 2-1 to add some emotion to the game.
At the second half, the Paraguayan team looked tired and a stronger Argentina used it to create spaces and take advantage of their fastest players. Ángel Di María scored two goals in just 6 minutes and that was the end of the game. Under Messi's lead, who won the MVP prize of the game, Argentina controlled the rest of the match and even scored two more goals in the last 10 minutes by Sergio Agüero and Gonzalo Higuaín.
Now they only have one more step to win the Copa América, but it will be a tough one as Chile is the host team and will have the support of their fans. That would be the first title of Messi with Argentina and would get him closer to another Ballon d'Or.
