Leo Messi is FC Barcelona's top scorer in all competitions and is still breaking all historical records.
In yesterday's match at Camp Nou against Celtic, Messi scored another hat-trick in Champions League and became the first player to score 6 of them. Second is Cristiano Ronaldo, with 5, and tied in third place we find Mario Gómez, Filippo Inzaghi and Luiz Adriano, with 3. If we extend the classification to the extinct European Cup, Messi is also ahead of Madrid's Puskás and Di Stéfano, who scored 5.
Messi scored his first hat trick in Champions League in 2010 when he made 4 goals against Arsenal (4-1). Two seasons later, Messi was the executioner of Viktoria Plzen with three goals (4-0). In the same campaign, he scored five goals against Bayer Leverkusen (7-1). Finally, Messi also scored three goals against Ajax in 2013 (4-0) and against APOEL Nicosia in 2014 (0-4).
