He won't play the second game with Argentina against Venezuela
Leo Messi is back to Barcelona. The argentinian star won't feature against Venezuela in the second match with Argentina in this international break because of the injury he suffered against Urugya. The player decided to travel back early to Barcelona to recover from these physical issues and be ready for La Liga return.
Messi played the 90 minutes -and scored the winner- against Uruguay despite Barcelona telling Edgardo Bauza (new national manager) that he shouldn't pick him up. And now Messi is injured and the club is worried, of course.
Barcelona expects it's a minor injury and that Messi can be back to face Alaves in La Liga and Celtic in the first Champions League match of the season.
