The Catalan went back from San Mamés with pain
The minimum risk Luis Enrique took leaving Messi in Barcelona instead of making him travel to Bilbao seems to have been very benificial to the player. According to Mundo Deportivo, Leo Messi took part today to the training session (which took place behind closed doors on Pitch 2 of Sant Joan Despi's Joan Gamper Ciutat Esportiva) with his teammates. Thus, it is likely for the Argentine to be available for Saturday's game in Malaga (4 pm, Barcelona time), if the good evolution of the pain he feels on the right leg.
On the other hand, Aleix Vidal went back from the Copa del Rey game in San Mamès injured. Two minutes after he went on the pitch, he suffered a hard challenge from Etxeita, and the Catalan player complained about his groin. Although he kept playing the game normally, a pain remained and according to Mundo Deportivo, it prevented him from training with the group. Probably to cover Vidal's absence, Luis Enrique called Barça B midfielder Sergi Samper, to complete the first team's group at training.
