This Tuesday's match seems a safe option to get three more points and be one step closer to La Liga. This evening at 8pm (CEST) Barça will face the 13th in the standings. Getafe have lost the last two matches and despite FC Barcelona has tied the last two matches against the team from Madrid, the Blaugrana team is now stronger than last year or last December, when Luis Enrique's men couldn't score on Getafe's field.

The squad list

Thinking on the key matches vs Bayern in the Champions League, Luis Enrique has decided to give some rest to Gerard Piqué, who has been playing a lot. Jordi Alba will also rest because he is sanctioned. The rest will be available for the coach, but these doesn't mean the usual starters play. Bartra, who has been missing many matches over the last weeks, could come back, and Xavi could be starter again. In the forward, if some of the usual strikers stays on the bench, Pedro could have an opportunity to shine.

The coaches

The Blaugrana coach warned yesterday about the importance of the match. "Real Madrid are very close, so we need to keep winning matches. Getafe will be a difficult opponent for sure. They were a hard opponent for Barça last year. If we don't do things well, it can be difficult, so we'll take the match seriously," he said.

On the other hand, Getafe CF coach, Pablo Franco said the team was "tired for the little space between matches but cheerful for his visit at Camp Nou." He added that “with the defensive level we are showing, of course we can stop the three of them. The other day we showed a high level. Being focus and taking our plan into action, why can't we stop them?"

Memories

Apart from telling you that Barça tied the last two matches vs Getafe, if we throw back, there's one memory impossible to forget: When Messi scored his best goal so far. It was in La Copa del Rey, against Getafe, and despite you may have seen it several times, it's worth watching it again.
