Barça's coach spoke about the sending off of the Brazilian at Copa América
Neymar has been the protagonist this summer for the sending off he suffered in the Copa América and the subsequent sanction of 4 matches. Brazilian striker kicked a ball in the back of an opponent, then he faced with Colombian players and ended up having an incident with the referee. The same referee explained the acts like Neymar insulted him and grabbed the neck.
"Here he behaved, so I wouldn't say in the perfect way, but almost."
In the first press conference of the season, Luis Enrique has confirmed that he had a telephone conversation with the player about the issue and he said: "He, as a professional, knows that was wrong. Here he behaved, so I wouldn't say in the perfect way, but almost".
In this last statement, without saying it explicitly, Barça's coach has reminded some episodes that occurred last season when Neymar was replaced. To Luis Enrique didn't like the public complaints when making changes, and even went on to say that they were "nonsenses".
Another aspect that doesn't please some members of the team and the staff were when Neymar show his skills in moments where the match is sentenced. These gestures are not well received in Spanish football as seen in the games against teams like Athletic Bilbao and Atlético Madrid.
In the third season at the club, Luis Enrique wants that Neymar solves these small details and focus on his great football showed last season.
