The tax issues in the contract are left to be discussed
Neymar's renewal with Barça is on the verge of being sealed, if we rely on the signals sent by both parties. Although the contract hasn't been signed yet (as Miguel Rico from Mundo Deportivo explained it), nor has it arrived to Barça's legal team to be looked into, sources inside the club affirm they received the player's approval, according to Ara's journalist Albert Llimós. Actually, as Llimós explained, what is being negotiated now is the form of the deal, on the legal level especially.
Basically there is a deal: 15 million Euros net by season, a figure way inferior to the one PSG were offering... but the player's will to stay is definitive. To seal the contract, Barça have sent an executive (Raül Sanllehí) to Brazil so he can "get rid of the flies" and negotiate the last details to renew for three more years. They are focusing on not repeating the same error they made with the first deal, that brought them in Court, and they want to reduce the number of parallel contracts with the father's companies.
In addition, with the renewal of the Brazilian, the other negotiations will be advanced (including signings), as they were on hold while this situation is sorted.
