The full-back recognised Pedro as an essential player for the National team and that he would like him to come back to Barça.
Jordi Alba spoke today in a press conference with the Spanish National team. The full-back went over La Roja's latest, and he also mentioned names in particular. When asked about Pedro he didn't hesitate to say he "is an essential player for the National team, very versatile." Alba affirmed as well that he would like to see Pedro come back: "Hopefully Pedro can come back at Barça one day."
In the same press conference, the player from l'Hospitalet didn't avoid commenting on the notable absence of Iniesta in the Ideal XI of the Euros' first matchday. "For me, Andrés shoud have been in the team undoubtedly", he said. Besides, Alba pointed out that the atmosphere in the National team is very good. "No matter which team we're from, the players make one", he added.
About his situation, Jordi Alba appeared very satisfied of his form with which he starts the competition. "I feel very good, the same way as when I arrived for the Euro 2012. Hopefully I can make a good tournament." Spain's next game will be on Wednesday the 17th of June against Arda Turan's Turkey from 9.00 p.m.
