Robert Fernández appeared in press conference to talk about the finished season and the next one
FC Barcelona's technical director, Robert Fernández, appeared this morning to assess the finished season and talk about transfer market and the planning of next season. The most highlighted piece of news he announced is that Dani Alves would leave the team, but he also talked about Mascherano, Neymar, Bartra or signings like Denis Suárez: he said his arrival would be announced on July 1. He also assured Bravo and Ter Stegen will stay in the club.
"He will stay in Barça, I know it for sure. We will find a positive situation. We will reach an agreement, whatever it is. He is a vital player who means a lot for us."
"I don't know when, but Neymar will reach a deal with the club and will stay here for a long time."
"I'm not worried about this topic. It's true his clause dropped. We will try to prevent his departure. He needs to play."
"I don't want Bartra to leave. If he does, we will have to change signing plans."
"Adriano has a contract in force and I haven't received any call about his departure."
"We have a very good defensive system, as you can see in the stats. There's no doubt."
"Marquinhos is liked by everyone, but I haven't talked neither with the player nor with PSG."
"We tried to bring him [during winter market] but we couldn't. I can't confirm or deny anything. Talking about players is harmful for negotiations."
"I want Douglas to play. If he has no options here, we will find a solution."
"Villarreal know we will recover Denis Suárez and I think it will be announced on July 1."
Ter Stegen and Bravo
"We have 2 amazing goalkeepers. They will stay here."
Assessment of the season
"We are really happy with the team. Not only for having won Liga and Copa, but also UEFA and Spanish Super Cups."
"There was a moment when we though La Liga was won, but then Atlético and Madrid forced us to win it again."
"Our goal is to win, but how we do it also matters. This is what makes us proud of our players."
