Bayern's press conference before the second leg of Champions League semifinals

Josep Guardiola appeared in press conference before the second leg of Champions League semifinals. He defended that they still have options to be in the final, he repeated that he will stay in Bayern next year and he defended his helping role in the team: "I'm not here to be the best coach in the world." As usual, former Barça coach praised FC Barcelona. "They became the best team in counter-attack," he said.

Here you have his best statements:

Bayern - Barça

"We are happy to be in the semifinals. We have a disadvantage versus one of the best teams in Europe... we'll try it."

"I'd like to score every time we reach the box. But in a box-to-box scenario, Barça's attackers are really good."

"Barça became the best counter-attack team in the world."

"I don't know how to play without organization. We will try to score with control. Something we couldn't do at Camp Nou due to their quality."

"The players have showed they want to be in the final. It's a big challenge and we will try it."

"I'm realistic and I know that 3-0 against Barça is different from 3-1 against Porto."

What do to do to stop Barça

"People think we have to attack well, but we specially have to defend very well."

"Many of our players have won the World Cup, and all the squad have won Bundesliga and almost reached DFB-Pokal final. The mentality is not important. What matters is the quality of our play."

"I can't say what can happen if they score... it's not about numbers. It's about playing and attacking better than we did, through the control and having the ball."

Lows

"Without Robben and Ribéry, we don't have their specific quality... and we have won without them. We have many options."

Future

"I have said million of times... I have a contract for another year with Bayern so I will be here next season."

Lewandowski

"He adapted really well. He is a fantastic guy. He has scored many goals and has had many more chances. I'm really happy with his performance."

"Of course it would be better for him to play without the mask, but doctors told him to keep using it. It's not easy to play with such conditions, but he will."

His role

"I'm not here to be the best coach in the world. I'm here to help this club and these players as much as I can."

"I'm a happy person. I have won everything in soccer, it's a dream to be here... but I won't commit suicide if we stop winning."
