The board won't go further than the last offer presented to Celta de Vigo
After the meeting of the Board of Barça this Monday, journalist Jordi Borda explained in Catalunya Radio which is the strategy that they will follow to try the signing of the player Nolito.
According to Borda, the club won't modify the last offer: bringing the player on loan only paying 10% of the transfer. The Board does not want to make an extra effort or keep pressing Celta. So they will ask the player to press his current club himself, and if Celta finally agrees, Nolito could end up being FC Barcelona player.
At the Board meeting, several executives stressed that Nolito is a 29-year-old player who would come to be substitute, and they consider that the effort to incorporate him is excessive. Since the coach does not want any other player (so if Nolito is not signed, nobody else will come), some argue that the Board don't do such effort right now, nobody will come in summer.
