Former Barcelona midfielder played in the Euros for the first time

Former Barcelona midfielder Eidur Gudjohnsen played some minutes this Saturday with Iceland's national team against Hungary (1-1). One of the best players of the history of his country joined the game in the final minutes. He is 37 years old and he is currently playing for Molde. Iceland ended up drawing against Hungary when they had been winning for many minutes.

Gudjohnsen played for Barcelona three seasons (2006-2009), with 72 appearances and 10 goals scored. After leaving the Catalan giants he has played for many teams, like Monaco, Tottenham, Stoke City, Fulham, AEK Athens, Cercle Brugge, Club Brugge, Bolton, Shijazhuan Ever Bright and Molde, where he signed a two year contract last February.
