Dani Alves ended up renewing his contract with FC Barcelona this summer. The Brazilian centre-back was about to leave according to his agent and the player himself, but in the end Alves accepted the club's offer.
According to MARCA reports this Monday, Alves has received a bonus of 1 million euros for extending his contract. Alves renewed until 2017 with an option to another year if he plays enough matches.
Alves signed his contract extension back in 9th June but he accepted an offer from the club far away from his ambitions.
This season Alves will face more competition in the right-back, with the new signing Aleix Vidal and Douglas also available.
