The Portuguese came out limping after the Villarreal game
Cristiano Ronaldo is starting to suffer the consequences of his eager to play all minutes. The footballer is doubtful for the Rayo Vallecano game of this weekend and it is yet to see in what physical state he will get prior to the Manchester City game of next Tuesday.
Madrid's player came out limping during the Villarreal game of Wednesday and was complaining about his hamstring. This morning, Madrid published the following statement about the forward's physical state:"Following tests carried out today on Cristiano Ronaldo in the Sanitas La Moraleja University Hospital, he has been diagnosed with a muscle strain in his right thigh. His recovery will continue to be assessed"
The muscle rupture being ruled out, the overload of Madrid's most important player is a serious upset for Zinedine Zidans. The coach will have to find a solution as for attacking positions for the Rayo game, since it seems complicated for Ronaldo to play that game and put in jeopardy his participation in the transcendental game against Manchester City in the Champion's League next Tuesday.
