He asked to have a personal physiotherapist by contract
Conflict in Real Madrid's medical service. Cristiano Ronaldo demanded in his new contract to have a personal physiotherapist and that really upset the current medical staff of the Merengues. So much that they're looking into the possibility of bailing out, according to what the newspaper AS published today.
Madrid's first team have up to 7 physiotherapists and they think that, if Florentino accepts the demand, every player will be willing to have a personal physio. Some footballers already have their own individual preparator out of Madrid like Sergio Ramos or Cristiano Ronaldo himself. If they entered the club's structure and for one player only, the management could be very complicated.
Lately, the Merengues' medical staff have already been through some controversies and the main responsible, doctor Olmo, has been criticised by the players. The numerous injuries that some players have suffered were unpleasant but Florentino doesn't think about making changes. It is yet to see how this new conflict inside the Casa Blanca will be resolved.
