According to the Madrid-based newspaper, Cristiano eventually cost more than Bale
If a few days ago the portal 'Football Leaks' announced Gareth Bale's real price, which was around that of Cristiano, the daily newspaper Marca counter-attacked this Wednesday and published a report concluding that Cristiano was more expensive than the Welshman.
According to Marca, the Merengues first paid 25 million euros to Manchester United and asked for two loans, to Santander Bank and Cajamadri, for a total cost of 72 million euros they paid in three instalments. The public figure was of 97 million euros which lead, if we had taxes and solidarity clauses between academies, a final price of 104.7 million euros.
Both Madrid and Manchester united agreed to a confidentiality clause, according to the Madrid-based newspaper, that forces them to not publish this figure so as to avoid UEFA regulations.
