The player's father recognises there are offers but does not want to look into them for now

"We talked with Chelsea and they offer a big amount of money, he said. The agents offer me to work in some English or Spanish clubs, but they did not convinced me. Barça are a great club and even if it means more pressure for my son, he can manage it. This is what is most important for me."
In addition, Regilio Simons gave his analysis of the situation in which clubs try to sign young players. "Agents are everywhere", Simons said. "They even got in touch with me, when he (his son) was younger, to make me offers for him. Football is like that nowadays. You cannot fight it. It is difficult for many parents. Time goes by and if someone needs money and the club offers a lot, you have the temptation to say yes." Nevertheless, he clearly stated that they "don't need anything like it now. We are trying to keep agents away, in an educated fashion."
