Barça's vice-president assured that the midfielder hasn't decided his future yet
The announcement of Xavi leaving to head Qatar is something quite obvious, but there are still some people who want to avoid this to the end. It's the case of Barça vice-president, Jordi Cardoner, who conceded an interview to Catalonia Radio and said that "we won't let him go because people love him," although the player from Terrassa rejected last offer by Barça.
"Xavi hasn't decided his future yet," said Cardoner, and added that "we would like him to stay one more year. He is a very important player, this year it seemed he wouldn't have a place and he showed, again, that he is a key piece for the team."
At last, Cardoner said that "Barça always wanted that players like Xavi or Valdés stay," because people ask for it, "but wa also have to learn that players take their decisions and they are free."
