Bravo; Alves, Piqué, Mascherano, Jordi Alba; Rakitic, Busquets, Iniesta; Messi, Neymar and Suarez. We have not heard it on the radios before the matches for five months. The heroes who achieved the treble —with the swap between Bravo and Ter Stegen— have not played together in the current season due to injuries, bans and rotations.

But this 'curse' could end at Bernabéu. For the first time this season, Luis Enrique could have almost all the players who made 2015 a dream season. As an example of this season's problems: the luxury defense formed by Alves, Piqué, Mascherano and Jordi Alba have not played together in any of the 19 official games played so far.

Eight of the players from the 'Best XI' have suffered physical problems

However, the physical conditions of the team won't be the same as in the Champions League final in Berlin. In the four months of the current 2015/16 season, eight of the players from the 'Best XI' have suffered some kind of physical problem, more or less important. Only Luis Suárez, Piqué and Mascherano have survived without problems.

Messi and Rakitic have not got medical green light yet —they expect to have it before Saturday— and they won't have a good competitive pace, especially in the case of the Argentine, who has been two months without playing. Mascherano and Busquets have suffered muscle discomfort during international matches; we'll see their conditions once in Barcelona. In any case, Luis Enrique will have the last word on who is placed in the starting lineup next Saturday at Bernabéu stadium, where they will fight to stay at the top of the table in La Liga.
