Hatem Ben Arfa was introduced on Tuesday as a new PSG player. After many rumors in the past few months, the Frech 29-year-old winger signed for the team that Unai Emery will lead and he said thet he did it to try and win the Champions League.
In the press conference, Ben Arfa talked about the information that put him in Barça's orbit and he recognised that "those rumors were true." However, he didn't want to explain anything more and he said that the news according to which he would sign for Atlético Madrid "were false". In addition, he admitted to being very close to sign for Sevilla but in the end he went for the Parisian offer.
The name of Nice's former player was heard a few weeks ago as a potential Blaugrana reinforcement for the strike force but the operation was never sealed. Robert Fernández is still searching the market for a footballer that would accept the role of substitute for Neymar, Suárez and Messi. The latest name to appear in the media is the one of Lucas Pérez, of Deportivo.
