The Catalan defense compared his situation with the one lived by youth teams players
Héctor Bellerín left Barça's youth team Juvenil A to start a new stage in England. On summer 2011 he started to play in Arsenal's youth teams and he signed his first professional contract with the English club in June 2013.
Former FC Barcelona player has talked about his stage in Barça's youth teams and the current situation of Barça to Daily Mirror: "If I stayed at Barcelona, I don’t know what I would have been. Some of my team-mates play second division, and they will probably get relegated," he said.
On the other hand, "being here I play Premier League and Champions League, I am really happy I made that step," the 20-year-old defense explained, he is hoping to "stay a lot of years playing for Arsenal and doing well."
